WORLD PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING DAY
The Department of History in association with the Department of Political Science organized World Peace and Understanding Day on 22 February 2020. Dr. Zoheb Hasan spoke on historical events such as the World Wars and other conflicts and how nations worked out to settle their disputes and how the United Nations is also striving to maintain peace and order in our world. He also acted as Coordinator of the program.

NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY
The Department of History organized International Web Symposium on National Education Day (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's birthday) on 11 November 2020 as a tribute to one of the pioneers of Indian freedom struggle and independent India's first education minister- Maulana Azad. Ms. Shaunna Rodrigues of Columbia University, New York (USA) was the Keynote Speaker while Dr. Syed Tahseen Raza, Assistant Professor, Department of Strategic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University.

SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE'S BIRTHDAY
The Department of History celebrated Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's 124th birth anniversary on 23 January 2021 by organizing a zoom guest talk. The Chief speaker was Dr, Naiyer Azam, Assistant Professor, Department of Historical Studies, Avvaiyar, Govt. College for Women, Karaikal, Pondicherry, India.
