                                     WORLD PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING DAY           Th e Department of History in association with the Department of Political Science organized World Peace and Understanding Day on 22 February 2020.  Dr. Zoheb Hasan spoke on historical events such as the World Wars and other conflicts and how nations worked out to settle their disputes and how the United Nations is also striving to maintain peace and order in our world.                                         DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY 1.     The Department of History had organized a Poster Competition on “National Identities and Symbols of India” on 8 January 2020 in the College library. Students from all streams (Arts, Science and Commerce) participated and we felicitated the winners with cash prize and certificate. All participants received certificates. 1.     The Department of History had organized an Inter Collegiate Quiz Competition on “Art, Architecture & Culture of India” on 4 February 2020 in room no. 37 of the college. The quiz was multiple choice (MCQ) written type. Students from different colleges such as Abeda Inamdar Senior College, Christ College and Modern College also participated.
