                                        DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY

1.    The Department of History had organized a Poster Competition on “National Identities and Symbols of India” on 8 January 2020 in the College library. Students from all streams (Arts, Science and Commerce) participated and we felicitated the winners with cash prize and certificate. All participants received certificates.

1.    The Department of History had organized an Inter Collegiate Quiz Competition on “Art, Architecture & Culture of India” on 4 February 2020 in room no. 37 of the college. The quiz was multiple choice (MCQ) written type. Students from different colleges such as Abeda Inamdar Senior College, Christ College and Modern College also participated. The winners were felicitated with cash prize and certificate while all participants received a certificate.

1.    The Department of History in collaboration with PC academy organized a motivational cum guidance talk on “Civil services as Career Option” for students on 3 February 2020 in Conference Hall of the College. Mr. Rashesh Kumar, a faculty with BYJU’s delivered the lecture and a mock test on General Studies and Comprehension was also conducted. It was well attended.

3 Students of FYBA also accompanied the head, Dr. Zoheb Hasan in one day Workshop held at Deccan College (a deemed university) on History and Archaeology held on 27 July.
